If you get a "help request" from a buyer, this starts the clock on the 48 hours you have to resolve their issue before they open a case. Once the case is open, which can happen any time after the 48 hours are up, it will receive an automatic resolution from Etsy support. The automatic resolution will be to refund the buyer.
