Re: Car Gurus GLS Pre-approval. A few people I know said that they used them before and once they went to the dealership the car was considerably higher than advertised on Car Gurus. Since then, I have not used them because I have noticed (personally) that sometimes their prices are a little too good to be true... Message 2 of 12.
No doubt Cap One has some sort of deal going with Global Lending Services where Cap One sells them leads on people they rejected. Hello, So I was curious last month to see if I would be approved and I applied online with Capital One and was rejected. I got a letter - 6735834.

I was prequalified by Chrysler Financial and Global Lending Service (GLS is around 14%). I did check Cap1 Auto and they had nothing for me.
Hey everyone, Has anyone ever dealt with the auto financing company Global Lending? I have a few lates I am trying to get removed. If anyone has any information on who I can contact there that could help I would appreciate it. If you do just PM me. Thanks
Chase Auto gives a pre-qualification amount on a soft pull. Non binding, of course. The amounts it gives seem tiered and generic based on income input. Amex Blue Cash Preferred- $11,000. Chase Sapphire Preferred- $8,300. Chase Slate - $500 (transferred) Bank of America Cash Rewards - $10,600. Discover It - $11,000.
Denied after preapproved (Cap1 Auto Navigator) I was approved for $15,100 at 3.9-13.6% though Auto Navigator. Found a car (came out to $12.6k or so, 10.6% with $2k down), printed the letter. Sales person says he's got a lot of these types of preapprovals lately and it's simple. Fast forward to the finance office, and they tell me Cap 1 denied ...
Obviously pricing, trade values vary from dealer to dealer? But would financing vary from a different dealer. Reason I ask is on my credit alerts I saw that the dealer sent out to Regional Acceptance ,Global Lending Services and Ally and dealer is an Ally flooring dealer. I would think based on my profile that they would of sent out to GM ...
