Charlie was born in Clarinda, Iowa, on February 12, 1948. His parents were Charles G. and Erma Jean (Walker) Bowen. They preceded him in death. He was also preceded by his sister, Donna Jean Bowen. He lived a short time in Clarinda, and then in Ravenwood, Missouri. He graduated from Northeast Nodaway High School, class on 1966.

She is survived by her adoring husband, Charles, her sister Teresa Barnes, and brother Bruce Bowers. She is also survived by her loving children and grandchildren: son Todd Schultz and his wife Kimberly and their children, Katherine, Gretchen, Matthew and Audrey; son Vaughn Schultz; and daughter Cinnamon Schultz and her children Scout and Leo.
Darrell E. Charles, Sr. 83, Skidmore, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at the Nodaway Nursing Home. Darrell was born on February 18, 1941 in to Lawrence and Mary (Freece) Charles. He was a graduate of Nodaway Holt High School and had worked for Newton Brothers in Skidmore, Missouri and later McGregore Furniture and Mattress in Texas.

Gladys Jones and Helen Harris went to Clearview Home on Tuesday to visit with Mary and Cindy Daniels and Carla Jo Davis. Gladys called on Helen Harris on Friday. She visited with Jeanie Jones in Mount Ayr on Sunday.
