Sierra Valley Gardens is a mixed-use development being developed by Robinsons Land Corporation in Barangay San Juan, Cainta, Rizal, Philippines.Located on the boundary of Cainta and Taytay, the 18-hectare (44-acre) site was formerly a Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation vehicle production plant until 2015, when it transferred its production site to Santa Rosa, Laguna.
Former Mitsubishi Motors plant in Cainta, Rizal from 1963 to 2014, also markets the L300, Lancer EX, Mirage and Montero Sport before it transferred its production site to its current location in Santa Rosa, Laguna in 2015.
The company was incorporated in 1987 as Philippine Automotive Manufacturing Corporation (PAMCOR). In 1996, the company was renamed Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC). Its former assembly plant is located in Cainta, Rizal, operating from 1963 to 2014. Since 2015, its current plant is located in Santa Rosa, Laguna.
In May 2016, Mitsubishi Motors announced Tetsuro Aikawa was to resign as the president of the company in effect in June 2016. Both Mitsubishi Motors and Aikawa denied any top management involvement in the mileage scandal.
